Fayette County, Georgia (November 2015) -On November 17, 2015, after a six (6) day trial, a Fayette County jury returned a defense verdict in a wrongful death case arising from a vehicle-pedestrian collision on Hwy 85 South in Fayetteville. The siblings of Wayne Alan Adams originally filed the wrongful death suit in the Superior Court of Fayette County against Fayette Mower and Appliance, Inc. and its driver, Justis Holmes. Plaintiff was represented by the Malone Law Office and The Issa Law Firm, P.C.
Kendall | Mandell, LLC represented the Defendant. Mike Kendall was lead trial counsel for Defendant, and Kimberly Mowbray was second-chair. The case was tried before Chief Judge Christopher C. Edwards.
Plaintiff dismissed the driver before trial and proceeded against Fayette Mower as the sole defendant. After hearing from at least fourteen witnesses, the jury deliberated for approximately 5 ½ hours before returning a verdict in favor of the Defendant. The case was Adams v.
